The Whirlwind
Safdar Bhatti
‘tis the whirlwind
turned tables
lame chairs
dust everywheres
dazed eyes
hearts filled with sand
lust hunting lust
Nature’s outcries
in an uproar
strayed and maddened uproar
fidgety to fidgety goads
oh God
massacres
in the name of martyrdoms
and crufications also
even on behalf of equality
and inequity too
all lies
tales of a subtle beastiality
revengeful beast
avenging
his eternalized loss
the removal
